Bleak and industrial, we're not and never will be

WTF

Despite occasionally enjoying this site and subscribing to this Oracle focussed offshoot, I always laid awake at night, endlessly tossing and turning, wondering what this curious and cryptic acronym WTF stood for.

I need wonder no more. Technorati have finally put me out of my misery.

WTF actually stands for 'Where's The Fire ?' My immediate reaction was 'WTF ?'

No wonder Technorati killed that product at birth.

breaking through

Finally. All that painstaking effort creating multiple splogs, scribbling my blog URL on whiteboards at every client I visit, commenting twice daily on the 'A' listers, spamming the newsgroups and bribing people for inbound links has paid off. This humble blog has finally broken through the 100,000 barrier.

Web 2.0 aficionados, across the globe, held their collective breath today as Mr. Norman Brightside, a little known and largely unsung blogger, from Newcastle (near Norway) delivered his much awaited, quarterly update to his renowned 'State of the Blogosphere' address. Fresh from the successful launch of a book club, Brightside told an adoring and expectant audience:
The blogosphere is in a right old state. There are a few more blogs appearing and the rate of growth is directly proportional to a fascinating new factor.
